Tanah Laut – Nawakara Project Arutmin Asam-Asam (RO Balikpapan) received the “Zero Injury Accident” award for the period 2021 from PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam. The award was received during the Opening Ceremony of the National K3 Month at the Arutmin Asam-Asam Project Field, Jorong District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan, Thursday (20/1/2022).
The award was given directly by the Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) of PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam, Novriyadi to Soni Hermawan as PJO/Site Coordinator of the Arutmin Asam-Asam Nawakara Project.
“The Zero Injury Accident Award is given as an appreciation for the performance of Nawakara personnel when carrying out security duties. None of the personnel on duty at the Arutmin Asam-Asam Project had an accident, which could cause injury to humans or employees,” explained PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam KKT.
Zero Injury Accident is calculated every 1 year period, starting on January 1, 2021 until December 31, 2021, which applies to all partners working at PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asam-Asam. This year Nawakara managed to receive the award for the second time.
“We are happy and proud to be able to win the Zero Injury Accident award for the second time. Nawakara consistently continues to maintain and carry out security well, by always prioritizing safety and paying attention to K3 factors, so that Zero Injury Accidents can be realized. We will continue to maintain this award and become our shared responsibility, so that in the future Zero Injury Accident will always be realized,” said Soni.
Soni continued, to minimize injuries at work, Nawakara personnel are always encouraged to work safely (working safely) which is a top priority, by always giving directions, reminding, conducting inspections, conducting necessary training in the field.
“Work sincerely and wholeheartedly by always prioritizing K3L so that we can provide the best service, as well as communicate and coordinate well between teams in order to create a safe and conducive work environment,” he concluded.
