Jakarta – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) held the Year End Gathering 2023 at the Intercontinental Hotel Jakarta – Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, on Thursday (12/14/2023). The event was attended by the Board of Commissioners, Directors, Heads of Departments, Division Heads, General Managers of Regional Offices, and Leaders from the Business Units of the Nawakara Group.
The event was opened by Nawakara’s President Director & CEO, Ir. Dino Bimadwinanda Hindarto, ICPS, who presented an overview of Corporate Achievements in 2023. In his presentation, he conveyed that Nawakara had achieved excellent results in 2023, focusing on four pillars: improving Finance, Customer relations, Business Processes, and Organizational Capability.
“In 2023, in terms of finance, we have achieved improved profitability, and we will implement a market strategy through strategic pricing and market research & analysis in 2024. Regarding customer relations, in 2023, we have achieved operational excellence through operation control & monitoring and client complaint management, and in 2024, we will focus on the development of integrated security solution products,” explained Mr. DH, as he is affectionately known.
He continued, in addition to finance and customer relations, Nawakara focused on Business Process development. In 2023, Nawakara achieved on-time and accurate data improvement, and in 2024, Nawakara will prepare for the Initial Public Offering (IPO). In the last aspect, organizational capability, Nawakara continues to enhance organizational development through mid-level competency improvement and performance management fairness. In 2024, Nawakara will focus on being lean and mean through Nawakara culture and key drivers’ capability.
At this Year End Gathering event, Nawakara featured a speaker with a different background than the previous years. Sigit Djokosoetono, Deputy CEO of Blue Bird Group, a businessman with many years of experience in the transportation industry, shared insights on “Overcoming disruptions, strengthen the foundation to build a sustainable future.”
“An organization must be able to overcome disruptions that will occur now and in the future and must be able to strengthen the company’s foundation through a vision and mission to build a sustainable future. This is how Blue Bird Group continues to survive by paying attention to four aspects: Great People, Great Service, Great Fleet, and Great Safety,” explained Sigit.
He recounted that during Blue Bird Group’s journey since 1972, many innovations and transformations have been carried out. Through these transformations, Blue Bird Group has participated in coordinating smart transportation systems. Because innovating and transforming is the only way forward to continue maintaining the company’s relevance.
“We harness the core strength in mobility services, with technological support to create a transportation system that is not only safe and comfortable but also more efficient, sustainable, easy, and user-friendly. This can improve the quality of life and functionality in both rural and urban areas,” said the Jakarta-born speaker.
The Year End Gathering 2023 event, filled with warmth and camaraderie, concluded with a Q&A session, a souvenir presentation to the speakers, dinner, and a group photo.
