Jakarta – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) through the Jakarta MRT Project participated in the “SHES Award 2023” competition held by PT MRT Jakarta on January 24 – February 24, 2023. The SHES Award 2023 competition was held in commemoration of the 2023 National K3 Month.
The categories being contested include Implementation of K3 Management Systems, Railway Safety Management Systems, Integrated ISO and implementation of Security Management Systems in accordance with the Republic of Indonesia National Police Regulation No. 07 of 2019. A total of 23 partners of PT MRT Jakarta participated in this competition, where each company was required to send a video with a duration of 3-4 minutes.
MRT Jakarta Project Manager, Iskandar Zulkarnain said that in this competition Nawakara carried the theme “Come on, Get to Know the Potential Hazards in Ratangga”. This 3-minute video was prepared very carefully, and on March 9, 2023, in the SHES Award 2023 top event, Nawakara won 2nd place (runner-up).
“We are touched and proud, Nawakara Project MRT Jakarta can provide achievement to the Company. Of course, this is all due to the cooperation of all the teams in the Jakarta MRT Project and the Jakarta Regional Office,” said Iskandar.
Iskandar hopes that this achievement can be maintained in the upcoming 2024 SHES Award. “By always being supported by the Jakarta Regional Office and Nawakara Head Office, we will continue to work well, remain professional and carry out Nawakara’s commitments at PT MRT Jakarta client locations,” he said.
For information, the SHES Award activity is to review and evaluate the performance of SMK3 for Contractors and Vendors as well as the Performance of Security Management Systems at Stations, aiming to be able to provide optimal service by prioritizing aspects of Occupational Safety and Health (K3), Quality, Environment, and Security. In addition, the construction of the MRT can run smoothly without any work accidents.
